In building its new nightlife management team, Tropicana Las Vegas has added a Las Vegas nightclub veteran and a marketing wiz who most recently worked for BASE Entertainment.

Joe Bravo, formerly of Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at Paris Las Vegas, Pure at Caesars Palace and Studio 54 at MGM Grand, is now on board as director of nightlife operations. Signing on as the Trop's director of nightlife entertainment/social media is Anthony Pecora, most recently a member of the marketing team for BASE in Las Vegas, promoting that company's Strip productions "Absinthe," "Jersey Boys," "Peepshow" and "Phantom -- the Las Vegas Spectacular."

Bravo and Pecora join Trop Vice President of Nightlife Marketing and Operations Richard Wilk, who started at the hotel Oct. 7.

Quoted in a news release today, Tropicana Vice President of Food and Beverage and Retail Tom Recine said: "We've assembled some of the best in the business, and I couldn't be more thrilled to have them on our team. No one else could be a greater fit for Tropicana Las Vegas."

The new management team takes over at the club after the Trop and Nikki Beach parted ways in September, ending a four-month management relationship in which the Miami-based club operator ran the pool, nightclub and cafe venues at the hotel.
