Three proven local restaurant operators are launching new concepts. The family behind longtime local fave Ferraro’s will debut its new venture, Pizza Forte, this spring, offering Roman-style pizza, Hofmann hot dogs, meatballs and more at two locations—inside Sunset Station and at the Hard Rock Hotel. Chada Thai & Wine creator Bank Atcharawan is planning to expand with the street food-centric Chada Street at an undisclosed Spring Mountain Road location, also coming in the spring. And Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza has transitioned its Centennial Hills outlet into the new Table 89, a fast-casual restaurant serving a selection of small plates, soup, sandwiches, salads, pastas and more.

On Friday, February 20, McDonald’s is teaming with Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth for a buy one-get one Big Mac promotion. During that day, McDonald’s will donate a voucher for one complimentary Big Mac to NPHY for each Big Mac purchased at participating Southern Nevada McDonald’s locations. So if you’ve been holding off Big Mac cravings, Friday is the day to feed the beast.

Mandalay Bay and Delano will host a unique “Walk-uh-Round Beer Dinner” with Lagunitas Brewing Company on February 26. Guests will meet at 5:30 p.m. at Fleur to dine on black risotto with grilled octopus, Hangover Sliders and other snacks paired with Lagunitas beers, then move along to Eyecandy Lounge at Mandalay Bay and Mix at Delano for more food and beer pairings. The price is $125 and tickets can be purchased by calling 702-632-7447.
