“Art Star” (Yeah Yeah Yeahs EP, 2001) Alternating between sassy and punk as fuck (those screams … whoa), this one encapsulates everything awesome about vocalist Karen O.

The Details

Yeah Yeah Yeahs
September 19, 8 p.m., $32.50
The Pearl, 942-7777

“Y Control” (Fever to Tell, 2003) Dial up the Spike Jonze-directed video, too, unless you scare easily.

“Cheated Hearts” (Show Your Bones, 2006) In a far cooler alternate universe somewhere, more people play this catchy number than Kelly Clarkson’s latest.

“Heads Will Roll” (It’s Blitz, 2009) Here’s guessing Karen won’t be the only one disco dancing inside the Pearl on Saturday.

“Maps” (Fever to Tell, 2003) Sure, it’s slightly schmaltzy and way overplayed. And we love the hell out of it anyway.
